Chip Ward,  Lead Minister

 

Chip is our newest minister here at Bethany.  He started on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025.  He is a graduate of Mid-Atlantic Christian University, class of 1999.  And he has been an ordained minister since September of 1999.  Chip brings over 25 years of ministry experience to Bethany as a former minister in the fields of youth, worship, and discipleship in the states of North Carolina, Georgia and Illinois, with most recently lead minister for the past 7 years in Tennessee.  It's Chip's heart to please the Lord, be an example of faith to all believers, and to see those outside of Christ come to know Jesus themselves.  Chip is married to his wife, Meggan Eynon Ward, of 21 years.  They have two daughters they took in back in 2019.  Chip has a great variety of things that he enjoys like music, sports, movies, and spending time with family.

And while there are many scriptures that speak to him, Chip appreciates Colossians 3:16-17..."16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
