Children's Ministry - GLOH Kids!
“Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Children's Lesson - April 5, 2020
Today is Palm Sunday! On Palm Sunday, we remember the time Jesus entered Jerusalem, and everybody started praising him! This was even prophesied many years before in Zechariah 9:9.
You can read about Palm Sunday in Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11:1-11, Luke 19:28-44, and John 12:12-19. Choose one or more of this scriptures and read them with your family, then watch the video!
When Jesus was going into Jerusalem, what did he tell his disciples to go and find?
What did the disciples use as a saddle for Jesus?
What did the people lay in the streets to make a path for Jesus to come into the city?
What were the people calling Jesus?
Some people were mad that the people were praising Jesus. What did they tell Jesus to do?
What did Jesus tell them would happen if the people were silent?

ALL ABOUT GLOH KIDS!
Our services are designed with adults and teens in mind, so we also offer our GLOH kids ministry where your children can experience a service tailored specifically for their age and needs.
WHAT HAPPENS AT GLOH KIDS?
Nursery (Newborn-36 months)
We have an infant and a Toddler Room. Each nursery is separated by age and developmental
stage. Our Nursery Team Members provide loving care for our youngest guests so that caregivers
may participate in service.
Preschool (GLOH Tots - Ages 3-5)
Team members share God's love with our little ones through fun activities on their level.
Our Preschool kids enjoy music, crafts, playtime and Bible story time. GLOH Tots meet in the
Family Life Center during the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
Elementary (GLOH Kids - Grades K-5)
Multiple grade levels going together for a high-energy large group experience with worship,
activities and an engaging Bible lesson. They also meet in small groups to make friends and
apply God's Word to their lives. GLOH Kids meet in the worship center until after the children's
sermon, then are dismissed to the Family Life Center to continue with their worship.
WHEN DOES GLOH KIDS AND GLOH TOTS MEET?
Each Sunday, during Sunday School and Morning Worship. After Sunday School, GLOH Kids move to the worship center with their families, until they are dismissed following the children's sermon.
WHAT SECURITY MEASURES ARE TAKEN TO KEEP MY CHILD SAFE?
All our Team Members are interviewed and background checked before entering GLOH kids training. Upon check-in, you and your child will receive matching security numbers. Our leaders only allow children to be dismissed to an adult with the matching number.
CAN I VOLUNTEER TO SERVE IN GLOH KIDS?
Yes! We love having parents, grandparents, and other caring adults join our GLOH kids team! Contact any of our church staff, and we will be happy to get you plugged into the perfect serving opportunity!
