Presidential primaries are being held in about a dozen states (Georgia among them), this coming Tuesday, with hundreds delegates available for Republican and Democrat candidates. There is a lot at stake and interest is high. Record voter turn out in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina has kept the 24-hour news business buzzing! I recently did something, which seemed ‘cute and harmless’ in the moment, but ended up being quite regrettable! Joni and I visited our son and his family for a couple of days and during our visit our 15- month old granddaughter, Emerson, put her ‘binky’ (pacifier) in my mouth. Knowing that toddlers are not careful about their health habits I winced a little, but she thought it was fun so I allowed her to put the ‘binky’ in my mouth and take it out. No big deal, right? Would you invite Jesus to your Super Bowl Party?
The Super Bowl will be played this Sunday evening. For sports fans/football fans it is a huge draw! Yet, even, for non-sports fans it’s a chance to get together and party. What’s not to love about a party?! We gather in a decorative and clean home. We eat, we talk, we play games…in this case we watch the big game (most of us more interested in the multi-million dollar commercials aired!). We take turns hosting these parties, but typically we invite, pretty much, the same cr
